Good evening Sorry for the 'dumb' question but I've been pulling my hair out since rebuilding my old Acer laptop. I'm now no longer able to transmit WSPR - the rig is keyed but no audio is transmitted.
Unplugging my sound card interface and I was expecting to hear the audio tones that would be passed to my radio (FT-817) coming out of my laptop speaker for the 1 min 50 sec transmit interval. Nothing.
The WSPR 2.0_r1714 setup drop downs allow me to choose between Realtek HD Audio or Microsoft Sound Mapper - neither seems to work.
Poking around the C:\Program Files\WSPR files and my wspr.ini includes:
WSPRGeometry 703x549+44+58
MyCall M0HKG
MyGrid JO01EU
CWID 0
dBm 37
PttPort COM7
CatPort None
AudioIn 1#Realtek#HD#Audio#Input
AudioOut 3#Realtek#HD#Audio#output
BFOfreq 1500
PTTmode RTS
And my audio_caps file:
0 2 0 0 1 Microsoft Sound Mapper - Input
1 2 0 0 1 Realtek HD Audio Input
2 0 2 1 0 Microsoft Sound Mapper - Output
3 0 2 1 0 Realtek HD Audio output
I've tried loading WSPR up on my works laptop this evening but I have exactly the same problem.
Any suggestions?
