I have been enjoying WSPR and have been sending and monitoring 40 meters among others. When discussing WSPR at my ham club the general reaction was that 7.040 has been for QRP guys for about 30 years and WSPR is jamming the frequency without regard for who might already be on the frequency. I have noticed that most WSPRers use 5 watts or less, but even that can be heard well on 7.040. Other WSPRers use up to 1000 watts. I wonder what the general reaction to this problem is, or is it not considered a problem.
