VHF frequency calibration ideas?

I need to get my FT-857d with in a few Hz of spot on on 2 meters.
As close enough on HF isn't nearly close enough on VHF and there are no WWV type standard stations I can't run the "check audio frequency" routine against what do you do? You can't run fcal against a list of known stations with the rigs error in Hz as there are not any. Any ideas that don't cost anything?
