Grid locator and position on Map

Hi All,

When I enter my Grid Locator IO74SV into setup my position on the map is shown in the Irish Sea, this locator works fine on other maps e.g.QRZ.com. I notice that WSPR only sends the first four digits of the locator, will that be the reason.
I would appreciate any help or advice.
