Help with Unbuntu Software

Hi All, tried downloading the software for Linux/Unbuntu but was told by Unbuntu that the software was not pure, so could not run it. Tried to install Windows version and run in Wine, but the .exe is not from a recognised place so Unbuntu forbids its install.

Help pse.
