I’ve been trying to get WSPR 2.11 (also 2.0 and 2.10) working for several weeks but have not been able to get it to decode. I’ve previously made contacts on JT65 and I spent twenty years in RF applications development so I’ve tried to use my research and testing capabilities before contacting you with a dumb question which has an obvious answer.

My equipment is as follows: FLEX-1500, PSDR 2.3.5, VAC 4.11, WIN7 64 bit, CPU – AMD 970 3.5 GHZ 8 GB RAM, all of which works with JT-64 and other digital modes. The topology at AB9M is also documented at http://www.dxlabsuite.com/dxlabwiki/DDUtilPowerSDRN1MMSkimmerCommander .

I’ve downloaded NTP Time Server Monitor by Meinberg 1.04, disabled the internet correction of the computer clock, and verified the clock is being corrected by the Meinberg software.

I’ve downloaded WSPR 2.0, 2.10, and 2.11. When the FLEX-1500 is set to the WSPR dial frequency and USB (or DIGU) with appropriate levels of gain, VAC line 1 from PSDR to WSPR 2.11 produces a RX Noise of –10 to 5 (no red or yellow). There are signals in the FLEX-1500 panadapter waterfall at the correct transmit frequencies and also in the WSPR 2.11 waterfall. Infrequently I have seen a hash value on the WSPR shortcut panel, but no spot information is displayed.
The band of WSPR 2.11 and on the FLEX-1500 are the same, Idle is unchecked and TX is set to zero (receive only). I see decode after the receive interval.

I’ve reread the documentation as well as the info on the forums at WSPRnet but I have not been able to get my equipment and software to produce a spot. What should I try next?
